These 16 Candy Brownie Recipes Will Change The Way You Make Brownies Forever
We have something new to add to your list of favorite pairings: candy and brownies. We're not referring to those packaged brownies with candy sprinkles on top (ahem, Cosmic Brownies). We're talking rich, homemade brownies packed with your favorite type of candy bar.
We're constantly discovering new ways of eating candy thanks to Pinterest (have you followed us yet?) and we think this might be our favorite to date. We can also credit Pinterest with teaching us things…like, before today, we had no idea that light-colored brownies made with brown sugar and flour are called "blondies."
Listed below are 16 mouth-watering recipes for candy-filled brownies. Some of them are doctored box brownie recipes, and others are from scratch; so if you're an impatient sweet tooth who's short on time, don't worry. There are tons of super easy recipes here, using all your favorite candy brands. And you can always substitute your favorite candy, of course.
If you're more involved and like to take your time when it comes to baking, there are also plenty of from-scratch brownie recipes that you just might save in your confection arsenal for entertaining.
1. Milky Way Double Fudge Brownies
Aimee from Shugary Sweets combined chocolate mousse with creamy Milky Way bars to create this decadent brownie creation. The recipe calls for 3 layers: a brownie base, a chocolate mousse/Milky Way layer, and a milk chocolate topping.

2. Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Brownies
Heather from Livin' The Pie Life made these peanut buttery brownies from scratch, using one of her go-to brownie recipes. She adds some salty, roasted peanuts and Reese's peanut butter cups to create a moist, fudgy, sweet and salty confection.

3. Snickers Brownie Bites
Brownie bites still qualify as brownies…they're just bite-sized so that we all feel better about eating them. You can probably use this recipe to make full-sized brownies, as well. Just be sure you have some marshmallow fluff and some caramels handy.

4. Rolo Fudge Brownies
Rolo has to be one of the most underrated candies of all time. They're silky, melty, and delicious without having too many ingredients. And, of course, they're perfect for caramel chocolate brownies. Look at that picture, how could you not make this? Extra props to Shelly for adding that extra caramel topping as "Rolo glue."

5. Butterfinger Brownies
Blogger-chefs always have funny anecdotes when walking you through a recipe. Lori from Recipe Girl had a particularly amusing story behind these Butterfinger brownies; her kids are starting to ask uncomfortable questions as they enter their pre-teen years, and these brownies make it all feel better. With tons of crunchy Butterfingers, peanut butter, and chocolate, how could it not make everything better?

6. Hershey's Cream Cheese Swirled Brownies
The melted Hershey's bar topping on these cream cheese swirled brownies make us feel some type of way, what about you? Susan from Doughmesstic was inspired by a trip she was planning to Hershey, Pennsylvania, and decided to make a batch of these brownies in anticipation. She melts a full Hershey's bar on top of the brownies. To die for.

7. Loaded Candy Bar Brownies
These loaded candy bar brownies would be a fantastic recipe for all of that leftover Halloween candy that your kids won't get around to eating*. You can use any type of fun-size candy you choose, but we wouldn't recommend mixing something like Jujubee's with Milky Way bars. Just mix the candy with a boxed brownie mix and you're good to go! Your kids will thank you when they take them to school…if there are any left.
Won't get around to eating, as in, they would eat them, but you won't let them get around to it.

We're not sure how Lil Luna got the name, but these bomb brownies sound explosive: Butterfinger, Reese's cups, and Cocoa Pebbles cereal! What could be better than that? We love the combination of crunchy cereal and gooey chocolate. The only remaining question: if you pour milk over these brownies, will it turn into chocolate milk?

When you take a look at this recipe by Jesenia from The Latina Homemaker, you'll assume that Baby Ruth bars — which are definitely named after Babe Ruth — were originally intended to be eaten inside of a brownie. With a homemade icing included in the recipe, you have no reason not to try this!
