Brown & Haley Almonds Roca
Crunchy, nutty, and irresistibly delicious!
Collection: Brown & Haley Almonds Roca
The original Almond Roca appeared in 1923 in Tacoma, Washington. The concept was quite simple: a butter-infused candy coated with chocolate and diced almonds. It was a local hit. A few years later, when Brown & Haley figured out how to improve shelf life, it dazzled candy eaters around the world. As candy competition increased later in the century, Brown & Haley cut many of their brands and stuck with the ones they knew best, their Almond Roca and Mountain brands. In 2002 they expanded to introduce Mocha Roca in partnership with Starbucks. In 2012, celebrating their centennial, they introduced Dark Rocha and Peppermint Rocha. Unlike many candy brands that have acquired more and more brands, Brown & Haley has stuck with what they know: butter, nuts, and chocolate. It's hard to go wrong with that combination.
