Loose vs. Full Line Vending Machines for Bulk Candy
1. Loose Bulk Candy Machines
Bulk candy machines are the gumball machines you see in the mall or at the corner store. They often only require one coin to operate (a quarter, usually) and require the buyer to turn a knob. The machine then releases either one unwrapped piece of candy, like gumballs or jawbreakers, or a handful of smaller candies like chiclets gum, Runts or Skittles.
2. Full Line Candy Machines
Full line vending machines are the big snack machines in your office break room or high school cafeteria. They can be used for soda, snacks, even electronics. They often have a spiral feed system where the candy sits in the grooves of a spiral and when the spiral turns, it pushes the candy forward. Theatre boxes of candy work well here, as well as candy bars and bags of candy.
